Job Responsibilities :
Individual will utilize an airset (no-bake) process to produce high-strength molds used in large casting production.
Job Duties :
149; Sift and pack sand into mold sections, around pattern / tooling contours
149; Assemble molds for production, including all required cores, risers, vents, etc. according to work instructions, utilizing hoist / rollover
149; Communicates (verbally) with peers, facilitators, and supervision to inform them of tooling or equipment concerns, casting inconsistencies, quality concerns, maintenance requests, supply problems, etc.
149; Keeps work area clean by performing general housekeeping duties.
Required Skills / Abilities :
149; Ability to follow instructions and learn the production process.
149; Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Skills and Qualifications :
149; Foundry and / or molding experience is a plus
149; Lift truck operation experience is a plus
149; Ability to stand throughout the 8 hour shift
149; Must wear required hearing and eye protection.
149; Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time. Occasionally up to 75 pounds.
